Our journey with **Angels Walk for Autism** began back in 2016 and again in 2017. Although it’s been a few years since we last joined, stepping into the SM MOA Arena this 2025 brought back a rush of emotions. My heart is full—full of gratitude, hope, and renewed purpose. This year’s walk reminded me that when we come together, we don’t just move forward—we move *closer* to a world that truly sees, hears, and embraces individuals on the autism spectrum.

This time, Elaisha and I didn’t walk alone. We were joined by our incredible @momssupportmomsph family. We walked not just with our feet, but with intention and advocacy—raising our voices for change, inclusion, and acceptance. Every step was a tribute to every child and adult with autism who deserves to be seen, respected, and loved.

A record-breaking  41,118 Angel Walkers from 10 ASP chapterscame together this year. We made noise—and we made space. Space for understanding. Space for visibility. And space for community.

We were honored to witness the support of passionate advocates like Michelle Dee, Pepe Herrera, and Sen. Risa Hontiveros, who reminded us that advocacy is always stronger when shared.

As SM marks 40 years, I’m deeply grateful for the safe spaces they’ve helped build for the autism community. But while the event may have ended, the  real walk continues. It continues in the way we speak up, the way we treat others, and the way we choose to stand up—every single day.

For inclusion. For change. For love.
