The flavors of the Philippines continue to shine on the world stage as Guevarra’s by Chef Laudico launched the 4th leg of its dining series, Taste of the Philippines: A Global Journey. This installment brings homegrown talent from abroad—Chef Dabo of Naimas Café & Bistro in Dubai, a Filipino chef making waves internationally with his modern spin on our beloved classics.


Guests indulged in an exciting lineup of creations specially curated for this collaboration, alongside Guevarra’s signature buffet. Highlights included the Humba-rum Chicken Empanada and Bistek Saltado by Chef Dabo, plus a bold take on southern Mindanao flavors with the Tiyula Itum Inasal Yakitori. Chef Lau also joined the feast with his own innovative dish—the Shrimp Laing Rebosado with Coconut Wasabi Cream.

Adding more flavor to the evening, Chef Dabo and Chef Lau also shared fun and heartwarming stories behind their dishes, giving guests a glimpse into their inspirations and the cultural roots that shaped their culinary creations.
